Let us pray.
But why do you really pray?
Do you pray because you need something? Do you pray because you want something? Do you pray because you are just told so? Come, think of it, ask yourself, why do you pray?
Many thoughts are coming now to your mind, right?
Yes, we have all our own reasons why we pray to Allaah Azza Wa Jall, but before anything else, let it be known that you pray because it is not because you are told so but because you are obliged to do so, it is the first pillar of Islam.
Realize that Allaah Azza Wa Jall never gets tired of Providing and Sustaining for your needs, He forgives you as long as you repent yet when He calls you to pray and have a talk with Him, you refuse?
Salaah is a gift and a mercy from Allaah Azza Wa Jall. It is the best form of giving thanks to Allaah Azza Wa Jall, best way to have a talk with him and pour everything that is in your heart without being ashamed because you know Allaah Azza Wa Jall can be the only One who can bring such comfort in your heart, you know that when you pour out your feelings to Him, He comforts it by letting your tears fall from your eyes which in return gives such relief in you, have you ever notice that?
Yes, when we cry, we release all out the stress, hatred and pain away from our hearts, that is a mercy from Allaah Azza Wa Jall, so when you cry it doesn’t mean you are weak, it just means that you are being comforted by Allaah Azza Wa Jall, there is nothing wrong on crying. It is a gift, so embrace it.
When you pray, concentrate, do not be fast on uttering the words of the Qur’an, feel every word, there is nothing wrong if you take long in salaah, it is a moment gifted to you by Allaah Azza Wa Jall, so make it count.
When you pray, know that you stand infront of Allaah Azza Wa Jall, so be firm. Stay focused, remember sooner or later, death may come upon you, so pray as if it is your last, cry, because with all the sins we have committed, we should cry, cry out for forgiveness from Him, for every minute that we have displeased Him, He tells us…
Muhammad sallallahu allaihi wassalaam said in a Hadith Qudsi that Allaah Azza Wa Jall said:
"O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you.
O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as its.”
Subhan’Allaah, how can a heart full of sins can not call out for forgiveness to the One Who says I will forgive you?
Every time, every time and i mean every single time we pray our Salaah, make it the most meaningful one. Make it so meaningful that your du’a would make the angels say Amin with you.
Allaah is Al Wadood, The Most Loving, my brother and sister in Islam, Allaah Azza Wa Jall loves you, just by the mere fact that he handpicked you to be a Muslim, says so much about His Love for you, or by just the fact that you were lost and He guided you back, doesn’t that make the heart grow fonder for Him more?
When you got lost, He didn’t put you astray more, rather He called you back, wallahi He gave you that honor back, so why are you putting this honor away by not praying?
Every salaah we make is a worship to Him, but go beyond that, make it a communication, a direct communication from you to Him, rather just praying just because you have to, pray because you want to, because you need to because its all that you have, the first step to become better, the first step to become closer to Him.
My dear child, we are bound to return to our Lord soon, either I go first or you go, all of us will. So make everyday count, you are given 5 gifts everyday, open it, fill it, embrace it and make use of it.
Remember, not all the people in this world is given this honor of having a talk with Him 5 times a day, We are blessed for we are Muslims and Allaah Azza Wa Jall honored us that.
Now, are you up for another talk with Him?
Yes, start with the next Salaah, give meaning to it.
And we pray that Allaah Azza Wa Jall softens our hearts through our salah, through remembering His Mercy, His Love, His Protection, His Guidance and His Blessings that we may realize the bountiful blessings He has given us and in return we could give thanks by staying consistent on offering prayers to Him.
I want to be this, then that, then this and yes of course like him and also like that…
Hey, hold up my man.
Too many goals, but no grounds where to start.
Subhan’Allaah, Yes, we all have our goals in life, things we think that when we do achieve we have fulfilled our purpose in life but come let’s have a talk and let’s bring ourselves back to reality.
Every Muslim or even non Muslim knows what their purpose in life is, it’s clearly stated in the Qur’aan. We all know that this world is but a temporary place, a world that we pass through in order to arrive in our final destination. So many ahadith support this as well.
My dear brother and sister, i know a lot of us put things on our minds and set as goals, have you ever rechecked it?
When someone asks you, what do you want to be? What’s the first thing we think of? Be a doctor, a lawyer, and engineer right? Why? Why not say, i want to be with Muhammad sallalalhu allaihi wassalaam, be on the highest layer of Jannah?
Don’t get me wrong but the truth is we think about that because we think too much of this dunya. When a question like that comes, we just automatically have this respond like it was built in us. Astagfirullaah.
This is the sad reality, I am not saying you should not have a goal in life, but what i am saying is, before we think of goals in this life, shouldn’t we think of the goals we SHOULD have for the “real” life, the akhirah?
We will live in this world, for a good number of years, by the Will of Allaah Azza Wa Jall, Alhamdulillaah, but we can never deny that this life is to end, that soon each one of us will be attending one friend’s funeral, that death will come upon each one of us.
So don’t you think its the right time to think about the real life, the life we should all be concerned of, because there we will dwell forever, endless.
Make every single second of your life worthy, when there is nothing to do but sit, then set yourself in dhikr, Subhan’Allaah, Alhamdulillaah, Allahu’akbar, very light words to the tongue but bears such heavy rewards in the akhirah!
We are Muslims, we are brothers and sisters in Deen, we have duties upon each other, do not be afraid of talking about death, because every single one of us will eventually go enter our graves.
Remind one another of your purpose in life.
Know that a real friend before he or she speaks, they think more than twice before telling you, and know that they will think and care for your akhirah more than what this life will bring for you.
Dunya is not ours my brothers and sisters, it will never be ours, because we were made by Allaah Azza Wa jall, and to Him will return everything that He has Created, so let us come back to Him with a heart full of repentance, that we may face Him on that day when we have pleased Him the most.
Let us strive for Jannah, because that is the true home of the believers, together with our Creator, together with Allaah Azza Wa Jall.
Always remind, always remind, even if its just a message, a call, remind that we all need Allaah Azza Wa Jall, that we all are going to die, everyday Allaah Azza Wa Jall bestows His Mercy upon you to be able to fulfill this purpose, will you not then fulfill it?
He doesn’t give you only one chance, He gives you 5 times, and more than that, as long as your heart is beating know that the Mercy of Allaah Azza Wa Jall is being bestowed upon you and that His Calling for you never ends, so come back to Him, come to Him, talk to Him, He is all that you need.
Let not Allaah Azza Wa Jall become your last option, He should always be the first, the first One you’ll ever come running for when this world falls upon your shoulder because of the endeavors and trials you are facing.
Do not be ashamed of coming to Him, His Doors are always open for you.
Its your choice, Will you knock or turn away?
Remember Allaah Azza Wa Jall created you for a purpose, so next time someone asks you what do you want to be, what will you say?
And we pray that we find companions in this dunya that will help us walk on the path towards Allaah Azza Wa Jall, that through their reminders our hearts are enlightened and that may He, Who Created Us, forgive us and protect us from the evil of our own souls and our bad deeds.
And put forward to them the example of the life of this world: It is like the water which We send down from the sky, and the vegetation of the earth mingles with it, and becomes fresh and green. But (later) it becomes dry and broken pieces, which the winds scatter. And Allah is Able to do everything
- Surah Kahf | Verse 45
Constantly reminding myself that this world and all it’s problems are temporary
Kerana terkadang, tak semua hal perlu kau tahu.

:: salam perjuangan buatmu, gadis!
